INTERIOR DESIGN SERVICES
WHERE FUNCTION AND STYLE MEET
From interior design consultation on new construction and large-scale remodels to finding the perfect pieces for a room refresh, we have a design plan that works for you. Our staff of interior design experts and furniture professionals aims to make the process approachable and fun with results that will exceed your expectations.
Our interior design consultations generally fall into two categories.
INTERIOR DESIGN CONSULTATION
For clients working on remodels or new builds that also have a need for furnishings, art or accessories from Mix Home Mercantile.
Our initial consultation meeting is free of charge if you bring design inspiration images, builder plans and photos, and measurements of your space to us at Mix Home Mercantile. Our designers can also schedule a time to meet with you in your home to take photos and measurements for a fee of $150. Your total hourly design fee will be determined after the initial consultation meeting and is based on scope of your project and specific needs.
FURNITURE CONSULTATION
For clients seeking our designer’s input to select furniture.
After receiving your new client questionnaire, we will reach out via email to schedule an in-home meeting. Our initial meeting allows us to gain a deeper understanding of your space and your goals. This consultation typically lasts about an hour, and the agenda is as follows:
1. Review every room you want to design and talk about your style
2. Explore your expectations for your project
3. Measure and take pictures of the spaces
4. Discuss the next steps and our design process
There is a small investment of $150 for the initial meeting, which can be paid online via a link we will send you. We require payment of this fee prior to our meeting.
Following this meeting, our lead designer outlines the design retainer fee required to execute your vision, based on the estimated total anticipated furniture investment.
Our furniture consultations provide a customized design plan, tailored to fit your taste and space. They include space plans, mood boards and a link to a digital room board with item details and pricing. After presenting the design plan to you in person at Mix Home or via email, we provide one round of revisions and a furniture proposal. We manage ordering and installation, finishing your home with white-glove delivery and thoughtful styling.

We thrive on developing lasting client relationships and strive to capture your personal style through thoughtful collaboration.
We’d love to design with you! The first step for new clients is to complete our New Client Questionnaire. Once submitted, we will review your answers and be in touch within a week or two to schedule an initial meeting.
Please note: Due to high demand and full schedules, we currently have a 15-45 day wait list for new clients, depending on the scope of your project.
