COLORFUL CLASSIC NEW CONSTRUCTION
Southgate Homes, now Navigate Homes, recruited Emily to stage the interiors of this 2017 Iowa City Home Builders’ Association Parade Home. Emily used bold artwork, a symetrical furniture layout, and cheerful, colorful décor to accentuate the builder’s beautifully chosen neutral finishes. The classic semi-open layout paired well with updated, classic transitional furnishings in this west side Iowa City great room. This home development is located close in proximity to a new elementary school and West High School, so Emily staged the home’s interiors so that they would appeal to a sophisticated family demographic who enjoy food and entertaining.

In her free time, Emily enjoys getting outdoors and exploring new places with her son, Max and husband, Scott. She also loves painting and getting lost in a good book.
