Emily Hughes collaborated with Akar Architects and Klosterman Construction on this modern prairie home in North Liberty. The clients sought her out for input on interior finish selections, wanting a clean, modern look that fits in with the architectural aesthetic of the home but also incorporated warm, matte, and rustic elements to make the home feel timeless, comfortable, and livable.

In her free time, Emily enjoys getting outdoors and exploring new places with her son, Max and husband, Scott. She also loves painting and getting lost in a good book.
